Saftey and Support
Our number one priority is the safety of each and every one of our students. By providing support to each student before and during their trip, we aim to ensure that they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
It is natural to have concerns about traveling to overseas locations. We frequently get calls from parents, teachers and students asking about the safety of our program. Secure and well-structured hospital internships are the core of our service.
Each year, hundreds of students take part in our program. We take our responsibility to each student seriously, ensuring that we provide everyone with a safe and educational trip
To ensure the safety of our students, we only locate our programs in countries that are welcoming to overseas visitors. Before setting up a program, our operations team at the Head Office visits each location regularly to ensure that the highest standards of safety are met.
We also monitor government travel information from many sources, including The
U.S. State Department, The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and The British and Commonwealth Office.
In each destination, we have our very own Elective student houses. These houses are comfortable and secure, with large, social living areas. Bedrooms are shared with small groups of fellow students. Throughout our destination countries, the garden areas are walled, providing a private and secure environment. To ensure that our students feel safe at our houses, we have security staff at each property twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week
Continual Contact With Head Office
Our overseas staffs are in constant contact with our offices. Our program managers update each student’s profile regularly, so we know what they are doing each day, and what they have planned for the weekends. Our head office staff also visits every destination regularly. Parents are welcome to call us anytime, either at the office during business hours or on our off-hour emergency phone (we take calls on this number 24/7).
Each of our accommodations has a full team of staff who are at the house day and night. The staff teams are made up of country directors, program managers, program assistants, housekeepers and security staff. Each
member of staff is selected and trained by our head office team.
